Independent engineering investigation, testing and expert advice for government, industry and utilities, delivered through BUET's Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultation (BRTC).
I take on engineering work that draws on both research-level physics and hands-on electrical practice. Engagements are carried out through the Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultation (BRTC), BUET and follow its procedures for independence, documentation and confidentiality.
Services
Forensic electrical & fire investigation
Origin-and-cause investigation of fires with an electrical or battery component, following NFPA 921: site survey, arc mapping, evidence preservation, metallurgical and microscopy examination of conductors, and independent reports for courts and authorities.
Lithium-ion battery incidents
Thermal-runaway assessment of consumer and cargo-related battery products, including cell-level failure analysis and review of transport and dangerous-goods requirements.
Product testing & reliability
Testing of cables, transformers, lighting systems, fans, motors, solar panels and other electrical components, and design review of drive electronics (for example BLDC fan controllers) for warranty-grade reliability.
Regulatory & technical committees
Technical assessment of manufacturing facilities and equipment claims for regulators, and expert membership of government committees.
Electrical design
Electrical system design for large residential complexes, educational institutions, university dormitories and port facilities.
Recruitment examinations
Question-setting and evaluation for technical posts across public utilities and organizations, coordinated with senior colleagues at BRTC.
